About
Director, DP and technical director with 20+ years on live and live-to-tape multicamera productions. I run the crews and the systems: producers, editors and technical teams on one side; budgets, vendor contracts and the builds that keep 200+ events a year on air on the other.
I'm a broadcast and AV systems leader with 20+ years directing teams, technology, and high-profile content. My client and employer roster spans enterprise, entertainment, and elite talent, including Visa, Google, Cisco, TechTV, NBC, and artists such as Rihanna and Jay-Z.
I'm equally at home leading people and leading builds. I recruit, mentor, and manage producers, editors, and technical crews. I own budgets, vendor and OEM contracts, and SOW negotiations. And I engineer and maintain the broadcast and AV systems (NDI, Q-SYS, Ross, TriCaster, Cyviz) that kept 200+ events a year on air.
That range of hands-on creative execution, technical systems ownership, and people and vendor leadership has been proven across Fortune 500 campuses, national broadcast, and global trade-show stages. I've already done the job at every level I'm asked to manage, and that's what makes me effective at leading it.
I'm comfortable directing executives and A-list talent on camera, translating brand strategy into flawless live execution, and serving as the trusted operational partner who lets leadership focus on vision.
2001

1998–2004
Six years operating jib and camera on live broadcast shows and newscasts.
2008–2020
Started the company — DP, producer, shooter, editor, lighting designer and studio manager, often on the same job. Built PJTV's 400 sq ft studio into a full virtual set: robotic camera pedestals and a wall-mount tracking system feeding an Orad virtual studio, all run from a single-operator control room. I wrote it up for TV Technology. Updated the control room and studio cameras — Telemetrics, Ultimatte and a full rewire — then installed and commissioned the control room and studio with Ross equipment and storage, along with a 5-ton AC unit above a kitchen and server room.
